Learn the what, the why and the how of taking a social entrepreneurship approach to create change. We combine insights from our 20+ years of experience with curated social innovation stories and media from around the world to help you learn how to put empathy in action. If you're just staring out on your changemaker journey or are already on your way and want some fresh and practical insights to help you accelerate, this may be the course for you.

This is an asynchronous course that can be completed over a 12 week time frame. You have the opportunity to choose your own pace and your own content based upon the issues that interest you the most. This is pass/fail. Participants who completed the requisite number of critical thinking reflections will receive a “Certificate of Completion” from Columbia Business School Venture for All.

An iterative and flexible design applicable for everyone from those who may just have the seed of an idea to professionals who are already working in social innovation

An informal approach that draws references and analogies from science, music, film, and the arts
