MAY 22nd - JUNE 27th

applications open - rolling enrollment

Social Entrepreneur Corps was launched over 18 years ago. Since then we've created unique experiences for 2,500+ students and professionals to create impact in Guatemala, Ecuador, Nicaragua, The Dominican Republic, Peru, and Costa Rica. We have long-standing relationships with partners such as the University of Notre Dame, Miami University, Northwestern University and Warby Parker, to name a few. Our years of experience have empowered us with the expertise and helped us to build the local relationships necessary to successfully pivot to virtual and hybrid programs.

Social Entrepreneur Corps has played an integral role in shaping my understanding of global development and accompaniment. Intention is put into the process of leaning before practice, and that enables genuine analysis and reflection that promotes the best outcomes! Also, the relationships formed in this program are long lasting, and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to work with and learn from such incredible and accomplished people.

As part of the program you'll receive up to 18 hours of conversational Spanish taught by Guatemalan teachers. No need to show up with any Spanish language experience.

We'll be using Greg Van Kirk's recently published book (toolbox) for our social innovation work with community members.

Greg's combined expertise in business and years of experience in social entrepreneurship around the globe give him a unique understanding about the drivers of social innovation. Greg is the go-to person when it comes to anything related to social entrepreneurship and innovation. He not only created a program that changed the entire trajectory of my career (Social Entrepreneur Corps), but he also has continued to be a mentor when I have navigated where to go next.

We recognize that these are challenging economic times for many and want to be responsive. As a result, we've worked to create the most economical program possible and a pay-what-you-can and pay-when-you-can structure. Choose which option you'd like and the timing of your payments. Regardless, the program remains the same and we 100% respect whichever option you choose. With options 2 and 3 additional funds go to support our local partners.
Note: Cost does not include flight and travel insurance.

FIRST, if you're interested in exploring the Social Entrepreneur Corps opportunity please go ahead and apply now. This does not imply a commitment. It just helps us all to get things going.

NEXT, once we've received your application we'll reach out to set up a time to talk to ensure that everyone's expectations are in line and to answer any and all questions you might have. We'll also send you the draft agenda.

ONCE WE'VE REVIEWED YOUR APPLICATION AND CONNECTED, we'll reach out to you with your potential acceptance and work through scheduling. If you accept an invitation we'll ask for you to specify how you'd like to pay.

Being a part of Social Entrepreneur Corps was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I'm constantly reminded how fortunate I was to be a part of it. Living, learning, and being exposed to a new culture while working with top students from a variety of universities taught me many valuable lessons that will live with me throughout my personal and professional life. It was a massive honor to work with a fantastic group and to experience changemaking on a global scale. My toolkit for problem-solving has grown tremendously, and I could not be more excited to communicate with Greg and lifelong friends in the coming years.
