ENHANCE YOUR ADAPTIVE LEADERSHIP SKILLSET & MINDSET
While working to sustain livelihoods and create opportunities in Guatemala through grassroots consulting you'll enhance your ability to lead in uncertainty and ambiguity. You'll increase your global competence and put empathy in action working in teams on collaborative problem solving. And you'll improve your conversational Spanish along the way.
These skills are required now more than ever.
Designed and led by an Ashoka Fellow. We've adapted all of the core components of our traditional field programs to provide you with a truly unique educational, professional and personal growth opportunity. We'll combine a mix of flexible synchronous and asynchronous activities.
Gain insights on the who, what, when, where, why and most importantly, the how from World Economic Forum "Social Entrepreneur of the Year" and Ashoka Fellow Greg Van Kirk.
We may be far away but that doesn't mean we can't provide critical support for our grassroots local partners. Learn the consulting skills you need through real-world engagements.
There's no substitute for being a part of a community of like-minded people especially in times like these. Build lifelong friendships with people from around the world.
This is all about empathy. We've creatively adapted our field activities to help you build empathy with individuals and communities in rural Guatemala.
Culture really does matter! You'll have the opportunity to gain unique insights about rural Guatemala and maybe learn how to cook and Salsa dance as well.
As part of the program you'll receive up to 20 hours of conversational Spanish taught by Guatemalan teachers. No need to show up with any Spanish language experience.

We recognize that these are challenging economic times for many and want to be responsive. As a result, we've worked to create the most economical program possible and a pay-what-you-can and pay-when-you-can structure. Choose which option you'd like and the timing of your payments. Regardless, the program remains the same and we 100% respect whichever option you choose. With options 2 and 3 additional funds go to support our local partners in Guatemala.
